Situated on the edge of the 2,000 hectare nature reserve of the Weerter- and Budelerbergen and the KempenBroek border park , Van Horne 1062 offers direct access to hiking, cycling and horse riding routes.
Whether you're looking for a short forest walk, a long bike ride, or exploring the horse -drawn carriage routes , you've come to the right place. Start your day with a cup of coffee, plan your route, and relax afterward.

Why 1062
Why 1062?
Van Horne 1062 refers to the year in which Weert was first officially documented and honors the Van Horne family, founders of our city. We are collaborating with hospitality entrepreneur Frank Laenen of Grand Café 1466 in Kronenberg to establish 1062. Like 1466, 1062 proudly commemorates the beginning of our regional history and symbolizes happiness, growth, and harmony.
